Eugene Rhee creates emotionally grounded stories for the screen.
Eugene Rhee is a Los Angeles–based writer, producer, and director working across film, television, animation, and visual effects. His credits include Netflix’s Despite Everything, Blumhouse and Hulu’s Flesh & Blood, and story consulting on Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious film franchise.
His work has been recognized by the Producers Guild of America, the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowships, Sundance, IFP, Shore Scripts and the Korean Film Council. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, he has also worked with Sony Pictures Animation and on studio and independent productions in the United States and internationally.
